In addition to traditional weekly therapy, I offer Models of Accelerated Service Delivery (MASD) for trauma-related treatments. This approach involves scheduling sessions multiple times per week—typically 2 to 3—allowing for faster symptom reduction and more efficient treatment timelines. Accelerated care is particularly well-suited for first responders and other frontline personnel who may prefer to complete treatment within a few weeks, rather than extending therapy over several months. This model supports quicker return to duty while minimizing disruptions to work and family life.
Assessments I offer include psychodiagnostic, cognitive functioning, personality, and disability/workers comp assessments. My comprehensive evaluations involve a detailed clinical interview, structured diagnostic tools, and, when warranted, collateral information from other professionals or family members. Each assessment concludes with a comprehensive written report summarizing the results and recommendations.
-Cognitive Functioning Evaluations: Standardized testing used to assess for cognitive concerns (e.g., Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) and learning differences, and to screen for general memory difficulties.
-Psychodiagnostic Assessments: Structured diagnostic assessments to evaluate symptoms and determine whether criteria are met for specific mental health diagnoses.
-Personality Assessments: Objective measures that assess patterns of psychological functioning and personality features to clarify diagnosis, inform treatment planning, and, when applicable, address occupational considerations.
-Disability/Workers Comp Assessments: Evaluate the extent to which a psychological condition affects daily functioning and ability to work, and provide recommendations for treatment or workplace accommodations when appropriate.
Assessment services are highly individualized and pricing varies based on the type of evaluation, referral question, and time involved. Because each assessment battery is tailored to the specific needs of the client or department, I encourage you to reach out for a brief consultation. This allows me to better understand the scope of services required and provide a more accurate estimate of cost and timeline.
In addition to individual assessments, I also provide pre-employment and fitness-for-duty evaluations for non-POST agencies, including fire departments, EMS providers, and correctional institutions. These evaluations help ensure workforce readiness, safety, and wellness.
Note: California POST-mandated peace officer evaluations are not part of our current services.
I provide consultation services to agencies and departments seeking expert guidance on best practices related to frontline personnel mental health, crisis response, critical incident management, and organizational wellness. These services are tailored to the unique needs of each organization and aim to enhance psychological readiness, improve support systems, and enhance response to behavioral health concerns in the workplace.
I also assist with the design and implementation of customized wellness programs for departments and agencies. These initiatives are built to promote long-term well-being, reduce burnout, and create sustainable mental health strategies that can be integrated into the daily fabric of your organization.
Programs may include, but are not limited to, structured peer support initiatives, psychoeducational trainings, post-critical incident protocols, leadership consultation, and culturally competent mental health literacy resources tailored to your workforce. Whether your agency is building a program from the ground up or seeking to enhance an existing framework, I provide evidence-based, mission-aligned guidance to support personnel across all levels. The goal is to create systems that reduce stigma, strengthen team cohesion, and proactively address psychological stressors before they escalate.
If you're interested in bringing a wellness or resiliency initiative to your department, I’d be happy to discuss your goals and help develop a proposal that fits your needs and budget.
Consultation services are available virtually or in person, depending on your location. Because each organization’s needs vary, please reach out directly to discuss your goals and receive a tailored proposal with pricing and timeline.
